Seral Gaz offers high quality and high purity instrument gases and process gases to metallurgy, electronics, environment, petrochemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Instrument gases and process gases, which we call special gas, are supplied in steel or aluminum cylinders of different capacities. Equipment such as sensitive pressure regulators and gas lines for special gas use are also in Seral Gaz's supply portfolio. These special and high purity gases are:

(**) Purity The quality measure of a gas is its purity. The purity of gases is often expressed as "percent purity". When the purity is expressed as "percent purity", the levels of impurities in the gas are also indicated.
Percent purity is expressed in a simple two-digit numerical system. In this system, the number in the first digit indicates the number of 9s in percent purity, and the second digit indicates the number that is different from 9 and comes after 9s.
For example, Nitrogen 4.5; There are four 9s in purity and the last digit is 5. In this case, it is 99995 and its expression as percent purity is 99.995%. Similarly, Oxygen 6.0; There are 6 of 9 in purity and the last digit is 0 and the percent purity is 99.9999%. The difference between percent purity and 100% purity gives the ratio of impurities.
Purity (Quality) | Percent Purity | Total Impurity |
---|---|---|
4.0 | %99.99 | 100 ppm ( %0.01 ) |
4.5 | %99.995 | 50 ppm ( %0.005 ) |
5.0 | %99.999 | 10 ppm ( %0.001 ) |
5.5 | %99.9995 | 5 ppm ( %0.0005 ) |
6.0 | %99.9999 | 1 ppm ( %0.0001 ) |
